WHAT ARE THE STARS?

According to SkyandTelescope.org, “a star is a luminous ball of gas, mostly hydrogen and helium, held together by its own gravity. Nuclear fusion reactions in its core support the star against gravity and produce photons and heat, as well as small amounts of heavier elements. The Sun is the closest star to Earth.”

The stars are said to be at incomprehensible distances from earth - trillions upon trillions of miles away in the vacuum of space. All of them varying in tremendous sizes, some as large as two thirds the circumference of our said solar system. According to the Bible however, the stars were all placed WITHIN the firmament directly above our heads. They are local and are much much smaller in size. If you think about it from a Scriptural standpoint they would have to be in order for ALL of the stars to fall from heaven upon the earth at the second coming of Christ.

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” (Mk. 13:25-26).

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” (Rev. 6:13-14)

In Genesis 1:8 it says, “And God called the firmament heaven.”

Here we see the “stars of heaven” in the “firmament of heaven” are falling to the earth, being “rolled up together as a scroll.” Earlier we read from Isaiah 40:22 that when God created the firmament of the heaven that he “stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in.” (Isa. 40:22). At the second coming of Christ he is rolling it back up again as a scroll.

So then what exactly are the stars? If you were to google the name of any particular star in the night sky, or any of the so called “planets” formerly referred to as “wandering stars”, the majority of everything you would see is CGI generated images or artist conceptions. (Try it yourself to see). This in contrast to the fixed stars that never change their position in the night sky. Without being able to physically go to the stars ourselves we can’t say for sure what they are or how they were or are formed other then that they were spoken into existence and each one given a name by its Creator.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” (Ps. 147:4)

These stars and what we call “planets” (wandering stars) were captured by my good friend Kathleen Weckerle with her Nikon P1000 high zoom camera.

Perhaps this man had the answer to what stars are. A star in a jar can be created when a sound wave passes through a bubble in water and produces a glowing spot of light of various colors.

Could it be then that the stars we see in the night sky are created through sound waves and frequencies in the waters that are on the underside of the firmament? This is uncharted territory but according to the Bible the sun, moon and stars were placed “in the firmament” which is surrounded by “waters” on either side of it.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:14-17)

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” (Gen. 1:6)

As Nicola Tesla stated, “If you want to understand the secrets of the universe think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” The same sound waves that can create a star when passing through bubble in water, also has the ability to levitate water. This would need to be the case in order for the waters beneath the firmament (in which we are seeing the stars through) to keep from falling away from the firmament to the earth. (More about the nature of the firmament in a moment.)

An interesting correlation to this experiment using sound waves to create a star in water is this passage in Romans:

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.” (Rom. 10:13-18)

The Apostle Paul is quoting here from Psalms 19 which speaks of how “the heavens declare the glory of God” (vs. 1). Verse 4 says: “Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world…” (Ps.19:4). Paul is referring to the proclamation of the gospel which even the stars were proclaiming from the heavens to leave people without excuse.

How do the heavens contain “words” that go out to the ends of the world? Quite simply, when God created the stars he gave names to each of them. “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” (Ps. 147:4)

The brightest of these stars were grouped together to form pictographs which are the various constellations. The names of the stars are what give us the drawing.

In the ancient Paleo Hebrew language every letter was a picture (or pictograph) of something in nature, something they could relate to in every day use. These pictographs were strung together to form words that are read from right to left. In like manner, the zodiacal constellations also form pictures via star patterns and star names that tell the story of the Bible. These stories beginning in Virgo, “the Virgin” and ending with Leo, “the lion” are read in the same direction as the Hebrew, from right to left (i.e. from east to west).

The story depicted in the star patterns speak of a war that took place in heaven and what it was about. This is seen in the constellations of Draco, “the Dragon”, Ursa Minor, “the Lesser Bear,” Libra, “the Scales,” Ophiucus, “the Serpent Holder,” Corona, “the Crown” and Hercules, “the Mighty One.” It tells of the promise of redemption after the fall of man through the Lamb of God (Aries) that was born of a virgin (Virgo), and would be weighed for 30 pieces of silver (on the Scales of Libra), and be crucified on a cross (Crux, “the Southern Cross”).

WHERE ARE THE STARS LOCATED?

As I have already alluded to, according to Genesis 1:17 the stars were placed within the firmament above the earth, not trillions of miles or light years beyond it in outer space. Lets take a closer look at what the firmament is.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.” (Gen.1:6-8)

Here we read that God placed the firmament in the midst of the waters to divide them. Thus, according to the Bible there is water on either side of the firmament, above and below it.

In the following spectacular video footage of the Falcon 9 rocket launch by SpaceX, we see the rocket positioning itself to fly horizontally as it approaches the underside of the waters under the firmament. It appears to be skimming across the surface of the water and leave a terrific wake very similar to that of a fast speedboat skimming across the surface of a lake.

The Hebrew word for firmament is Raqiya, and is defined from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance as follows:

The Hebrew language describes the firmament as something that is firm, solid, hand crafted, stretched out above the earth and capable of supporting water above it. In the account of the flood of Noah we read:

In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.” (Gen. 7:11)

When the “windows” of the firmament which God called “heaven” were opened water bursts forth that flooded the earth. Fifty days later they were sealed back up again. A thousand years later the Psalmist declared that the waters above the firmament of heaven were still there:

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.” (Ps. 148:4)

The following texts give us a further description of the firmament:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” (Ps. 19:1)

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.” (Ez. 1:22)

Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?” (Job 37:18)

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:14-17)

In the same way you put lights in a ceiling above a room to provide light for the room. It’s as simple as that, only the lights God created are much more sophisticated and complex as we have already discussed.

So here we read how God set the “lights” (i.e. the sun, moon and stars) within the firmament, not beyond it out into outer space. The sun, moon and stars are close, only a few thousand miles above us and much much smaller than what we’ve been led to believe. They are part of the earth system, a canopy spread out above the earth as a covering, a ceiling with lights to give light upon the earth.

Here a few examples of the ancient cultures who all knew and believed that a firmament enclosed the earth.

Here we see that not only were all these ancient cultures aware of the firmament that encloses the earth, but even the Freemasons depict the firmament with the sun, moon and stars within it, not beyond it. Do they know something that we have all forgotten about?

One other point I would like to make is how we see the stars move across the sky in a circular pattern year after year, century after center, millennia after millennia and yet never change their position. How is this possible when we are taught that the earth is orbiting around the sun at 66,600 mph, our solar system traveling through the Milky Way Galaxy at over 500,000 mph, and our galaxy moving through space at 1,234,800 mph? Think about it…

I find it also very interesting how the Great Pyramids of Giza represent the famous stars of Orion’s Belt, right down to their orientation and size. The 2 larger pyramids represent the brighter Alnilam and Alnitak, whilst the smaller of the pyramids represents the dimmer, and slightly offset, Mintaka. It is believed that these pyramids were built during the 4th dynasty, between 2575 and 2465 BCE. That’s 4500 years ago and yet the alignment of these pyramids remain unchanged as we can verify from the pictures below.

Finally, in regards to the retrograde movement of the wandering stars (i.e. what we now call planets), the geocentric model of the earth and star movements perfectly explains how they retrograde backwards and then forward again based upon the sacred geometric pattern below. In the heliocentric model, in order for the “planets” to retrograde they would have to come to a complete stop, reverse, move in the opposite direction then stop again and reverse back to continue its orbit around the sun. Which model sounds more logical to you?
